Geneva was married to Grover Isler who preceded her in death and to this union six children were born. Raymond and Grover, Jr. preceded her in death.

She leaves a legacy of love, dedication and commitment to: three daughters, Doris Smith, Dorothy King, Shirley (Ledger) Morrissette and one son, Clifton (Sadie); one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Isler; nine grandchildren, Marvin, Roderick, Cynthia, Tressa, Jay, Tracee, Doresa and Julius; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Melissa Jones and Dollie Mills and a host of other relatives and friends.

Geneva gave her life to Christ at an early age and was very faithful until her health declined. She was a very faith Deaconess of the church. She was a willing worker  and faithful to the cause of Christ.

She was also a member of a group called the "Charity Club". This group was formed by Geneva and other women in the community many years ago who went about helping others who needed help.
