A Servant's Prayer. . .
Kind Father, in Your Name we come before you with thanksgiving in our hearts. We thank You for allowing us to come in Your Presence one more time.
Thank You, Lord, for giving us opportunity to come to one more Annual Conference. It is of no goodness of our own, but because You have been so good to us. Not only have You been good to us, but also You have been merciful. You have given us one more change to gather in the Grand Ole North Carolina Conference for the purpose of worship. For that Lord, we say thank you.
We have come over high mountains; we have come through low valleys trying to assemble in the midst of Your people at this Annual Conference. For that Lord, we say thank you.
Our Bishop and Missionary Supervisor, our Presiding Elders and Ministers, our District Officers and Laity have come to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. We have come to be blessed by You, God. We have come to be a blessing to Your people. For that Lord, we say thank you.
Let Your Word be preached so we will not be the same as we were when we came. Thank you Jesus, for allowing us to be in Your hands during the Annual Conference. Thank You Lord, for giving us an opportunity as a family to bring glory and honor to your Name.
Thank you, Lord, for loving us and forgiving us of our many sins. Have Your way, now in the conference in the lives of Your people.
It is in Your Name, Jesus, I pray! Amen
